Fashion critics were divided on Natalie Portman's 2012 Oscar dress, but there’s one person who must’ve really loved it.
The newly-married actress' 1954 vintage red Christian Dior design, which featured small black polka-dots and was borrowed from couture dealer Rare Vintage, was recently sold for $50,000 on 1stdibs.com.
According to the New York Post, an unknown British couture collector in London purchased the size-4, polka-dot creation.
Portman, 30, is the face of Dior Cherie perfume and wore the gown with Harry Winston jewels and a surprise wedding band, while presenting the Academy Award for Best Actor to "The Artist's" Jean Dujardin on Feb. 26.
