Rihanna just wants to go on a simple date. That's right, the singer, despite being pictured living a life that includes trips on yachts, to clubs, and to more exotic destinations in one year than most experience in a lifetime, just wants someone to take her to dinner and a movie.
"I have not been on a date in forever," she said in the new issue of Vogue. "Like two years. Haven't gone to the movies, to dinner. Zero ... Seriously, all I want is a guy to take me out and make me laugh for a good hour and take my ass back home. He doesn't even have to come up. All I want is a conversation for an hour."
The elephant in the room here for anyone who's paid a tiny bit of attention to the singer over the last four years is Chris Brown. The two went to court in 2009 after their pre-Grammy fight that ended in Brown's assault of Rihanna. After a period where there was a protection order in place, they have grown increasingly close and have been rumored to be back together after photos surfaced of the two looking close enough for some to speculate actual "making out" was taking place.
Rihanna, however, told Vogue that "no one asks" her out. "I'm waiting for the man who's ballsy enough to deal with me. I'm going to wait, though. You always find the wrong [expletive] when you go looking."

And as for the Chris Brown question, she didn't confirm or deny anything, but conceded that whatever interaction there is has become "a bit of a fascination." She said, "I don't know if people will stop soon, but I feel like as soon as they have closure to it, they will. But they're not on the inside. They can't see what I see, unless they're sitting in my point of view. I guess I'll learn to accept that."
