Miley Cyrus has no regrets about getting a divisive blonde pixie cut in August 2012. While promoting her latest movie, "So Undercover," the 20-year-old star vowed to keep the short style for years to come.

The long and short of it: Miley Cryus in December, left, and in 2010.
"I hated the extensions -- hair that's sewn into your head. It's creepy," Cyrus told E! News of what prompted her to get a major makeover. "You will never see me with long hair again! My fiance [LiamHemsworth] loves it. It's so much easier to go shave the sides once a week rather than getting your roots done when you have long hair. I feel like when you have short hair, the messier it is, the better it looks."
Short hair, Cyrus said, "looks better grungy and not washing it."
Reiterating that she doesn't miss her long brunette locks "in any way," the "See You Again" singer said "it's so weird seeing [pictures of] me and my long hair. I do not like it. I wish someone would have ripped them out of my head because the extension thing is just so not cute! I hate it."
Her much-talked about mane aside, Cyrus said she's gearing up for the release of her first album since 2010's "Can't Be Tamed." "I'm ready to get that out," she told E! News. "I'm excited to push play and have the world hear it!"
